Present day: Today, Chapel street has a school, a church, a monastery and two hairdressers.
How it got it's name: Chapel street got its name because of a chapel built on the street.
Famous people that lived on the street: The De La Salle brother lived on the street. they lived in the monastery. The brothers paid the nuns one pound a year to stay there.
History: The De La Salle brothers came to Chapel street in 1888. The De La Salle brothers built two schools,St Patrick's B.N.S and St Geralds
